A Home Office Transformation

When a client comes to us and says, “I want COLOR,” my first thought is always, “Don’t tempt me with a good time.”

Because while I love every project our team has the privilege of creating, those rooms where I get to play with stunning, bold colors tend to have a soft spot in my heart.

Thankfully, we have a current client project that 100% fits this bill and today, I’m super excited to give you a behind the scenes peek at what’s in store for this gorgeous home office.

This client came to us wanting to turn her guest bedroom/office into a strictly home office space. She has plenty of other bedrooms in her home, and this space will be transformed into a place just for her and her remotely-run business.

Here’s the room currently:

It's not a bad guest bedroom, but it certainly doesn’t reflect this client’s take-charge personality and business branding. It’s also not set up for her to make the most of it as a workspace.

Her vision for this room included bold color, a small seating space for hosting, a desk, and built-in bookcases. In reality, this home office will also serve as a Quiet Room for this client. It will be perfect for those times when she needs a private nook to escape to — where she can curl up with a good book or simply relax and process the day.

Of course, the most exciting part of the planning reveal for our client are the images and video we created allowing her to “walk through” her new space before we’ve even completed it!
