More Behind the Schemes

A couple of weeks ago, I gave you an insider’s peek at a client project our team is working on, and now, I’m back with round two. While it’s common to see jaw-dropping before and after photos in the design world, it’s rare to get a look at the process that goes into that transformation.

That’s why this week on the blog, we’re once again highlighting our proven process with a preview of what we’re planning for our client’s foyer and living room. You’re going to love what we have in store with these hard-working homeowners. Let’s dive in with their foyer.

Here is the before:

This foyer is such a beautiful space in this well-designed home, but currently, it lacks much of the vibrant personalities of its owners. With a bit more of a wow factor in mind, here are the inspiration photos we chose for the room:

With this aesthetic in mind, here is our team’s design for the foyer:

With two vets in this house, these clients are naturally animal lovers, and an important feature for them is the “cat room” under their stairs. You know I loved that particular feature, too!  Now that you’ve seen this home’s entryway, I’m taking you to the living room!

Here is the before of this amazing space:

It’s not bad by any means, and those beams are gorgeous, but overall, the room could use some updates. Also, as people with lots of cats, these clients requested that the leather furniture be a thing of the past!

Here’s the inspiration for what these homeowners are craving for this living room:

Now, here is what our team designed and will soon be bringing to life in the space:

Stay tuned to see it all come together, and I’ll be back soon with more behind the “schemes” insights for you!
